Introduction The museum was first opened in 1990 by a group of volunteers from the Severn Valley Railway.   The building was a warehouse built by the Great Western Railway in 1878. It became disused and subsequently derelict in the early 1980s. Activities The museum houses a vast range of railway artefacts. Photograph, magazine, book and archive collections are available for research. There is a Friends Club for raising money. Corporate hospitality facilities are available. A museum shop. Tea room
