Modern town centre real ale bar. Accredited for beer quality 2024 Town-centre bar and pub, opened in December 2019. Inside it’s deceptively spacious, with a mix of comfy sofas, tables and perches. Weird and wonderful pictures adorn the walls. Background music and no gaming machines encourages conversation. On some Fridays and Saturdays there’s live music, and on every other Sunday there’s an open mic night. Pub quiz every other Wednesday attracts a good number of teams, and there’s always room for another.
